Established in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum (which includes the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum) is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. There are over 4000 members throughout the country. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.

The result is a credible, comprehensive and impressive list of trial lawyers chosen to represent their state.
The Litigation Counsel of America is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. The composition of the LCA is aggressively diverse, with recognition of excellence among American litigation and trial counsel across all segments of the bar. The purpose of the LCA is to recognize deserving, experienced, and highly qualified lawyers, to provide an outlet for scholarly authorship of legal articles on trial and litigation practice, to provide additional sources for professional development, to promote superior advocacy and ethical standards in the practice of law, to assist in community involvement by its membership, and to advance a superior judiciary, by taking relevant positions on issues or legislation affecting judicial compensation and/or benefits, as well as those affecting the American litigation processes.
The Advisory Board of the Litigation Counsel of America is composed of Fellows from a wide variety of practice specialties and geographical locations. The Advisory Board sits at the request of the Nominations Committee and acts in approval of Fellow selections and other activities of the LCA in which independent consultation or approval may be requested. The President and President-Elect of the Litigation Counsel of America sit on the Advisory Board during their tenures, along with the Executive Director and General Counsel.
The Complex Commercial Litigation Institute is an Institute of the Litigation Counsel of America and is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. CCLI is a group of LCA Fellows throughout the U.S. and Canada who focus their practices on complex commercial litigation. The mission of the CCLI is to provide a forum to share and develop best practices in litigating and trying complex commercial cases; share specialized expertise; provide a nationwide resource for local procedural and substantive knowledge; and engage in the education of complex litigation practitioners through speaking engagements and publications.
The U.S.News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a ranking, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers as part of the annual peer review assessment.
Georgia Trend’s annual “Legal Elite” issue features attorneys selected by their peers as the most effective in various practice areas including business law; personal injury litigation; criminal law; labor and employment; taxes, estates, and trusts; bankruptcy and creditors’ rights; family law; and general practice and trial law. Any attorney who is a member of the State Bar and lives and practices law in Georgia is eligible to participate in the voting process.
The Claims and Litigation Management Alliance is the only national organization created to meet the needs of professionals in the claims and litigation management industries. The Council is a nonpartisan alliance committed to furthering the highest standards of litigation management. The Council sponsors educational programs, provides resources, fosters communications, and recognizes lawyers who meet high standards. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.
