The Conner Law Group achieved a significant victory for its client, The Dan J. Sheehan Company, in the Georgia Court of Appeals on November 19, 2015.

The Conner Law Group was successful in establishing successor corporate liability against a condominium association for an unpaid debt to The Dan J. Sheehan Company. The case arose out of a construction project in Savannah, Ga., that The Dan J. Sheehan Company successfully completed but for which it was never paid. The condominium association had attempted to circumvent a jury verdict that The Conner Law Group had obtained following a jury trial in Savannah by creating a new association.
After filing a suit against the successor entity, The Conner Law Group established as a matter of law that the new successor entity was nonetheless still responsible for the debt established under the jury verdict against the original condominium association.
The Conner Law Group’s success in litigating favorable outcomes on behalf of its clients has enabled the firm to develop a reputation as one the top complex business litigation firms for cases in Southeast Georgia.
